Our Experience Days are onsite sessions intentionally designed to facilitate meaningful interactions, cultivate friendships, promote teamwork, and establish support networks, all of which foster a strong sense of community.
Although more challenging in some ways, it is a priority of our team to develop community and connection between students, families, and staff. Beyond the efforts of our teachers through pastoral care, prioritising wellbeing, and building community in our online classrooms, our whole team participates in our Experience Day events which provide an opportunity for students, parents and staff to spend quality time together in person.
Where, Who & When
We host one Experience Days session per term over two consecutive days at Pacific Hills Christian School located in Dural in northwest Sydney. We encourage all students to join us for these days although we acknowledge this isn’t always practical.
Many parents join us for one or both morning sessions for an opportunity to meet others from our community and develop their own connections in parallel. Some parents, if their work lends itself to it, stick around at the Pacific Hills café for the day and work from there.
Students have a wonderful opportunity to grow their friendships with their peers, develop the connection they have with their teachers, and from a learning perspective, take advantage of the campus resources at Pacific Hills including science labs and kitchens.
