No. We have a number of students in our community that come from diverse backgrounds and experience who value being apart of our Christian community. Our school, however, requires all families and children who are enrolled at Pacific Online to support and respect the Christian beliefs and values that are framed by the Pacific Online vision which is to be a Christian Educational community as a centre of teaching, learning, and serving excellence founded on Biblically based beliefs, values and behaviour.
Pacific Online is required to deliver all teaching in alignment with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) guidelines. As a distinctly Christian school, the curriculum is taught from a Biblical perspective and framed by the Christian worldview.
No, our teaching team will be in daily contact with students. We encourage students to take ownership of their learning and, as such, to develop responsible learning habits. However, a nominated on-site supervisor is required for any issues that may arise and as the main contact.
Learning is both live (synchronous) and on-demand (asynchronous), allowing students to connect with their teacher and peers in real-time and in a delayed dialogue on Canvas (our Learning Management System).

Yes, certainly. We will ensure all students will be provided with an individualised learning plan with appropriate adjustments to learning as required.
Students connect with their peers online using learning tools and intentionally designed learning experiences at our Experience Days.
Much like a physical school environment, teachers and staff care for and seek to know your child’s learning journey. We seek to build a relationship where they feel known and valued as an important part of our school community. Staff check in live with students each morning to understand each student’s emotional wellbeing. We have planned activities during our Experience Days coordinated by our wellbeing team focusing on healthy habits.
During our Experience Days, students will complete practical components of their course. We design many learning activities uniquely so students can demonstrate practical learning outcomes and skills using available technological tools, which can often redefine the learning experience.
Yes, we offer single course subjects in partnership with other schools.
If the subject is not offered at their current school, there will be no additional charge for the course, though there may be costs associated with textbooks, materials, and excursions.
We have expert staff from all over NSW, some of whom work from home and others who are based at other campuses within the Pacific Group of Christian Schools.
