Our priority is to provide a safe and secure online learning community where every child is nurtured and cared for holistically. Our teachers and team members serve as pastoral caregivers, seeking to enrich the learning journey of students academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Children flourish when they have a healthy sense of wellbeing and feel valued.
PROSPER is a whole-school learning program that teaches students social and emotional learning skills. During our residential sessions, we focus on one aspect of the PROSPER model and intentionally plan our lessons to reinforce the concept. This approach equips students with resilience skills for when they encounter challenges in life. The PROSPER model is evidence-based and leads to improved student wellbeing.
PROSPER frames our weekly lessons and activities, focusing on social and emotional learning skills for all students. Used alongside the SERVE model which encourages students to look out for the needs of others.
At Pacific Online, building supportive relationships and wellbeing is at the heart of how we care for students. Teachers go beyond their role by serving our students as pastoral carers, actively supporting their wellbeing. They provide continuous help to students, enabling them to reach their academic goals whilst fostering their holistic growth and development. Our students flourish under our wellbeing program.
Students can experience increased stress levels when engaging in academic studies, relationships and other external pressures.
Our team fosters the development of each child by providing a strong support network to help them identify stress management strategies that build resilience. We are committed to working closely with students and their families to reduce stressful experiences.
